WITH THE PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY'S ANNOUNCING ELECTIONS IN PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES WITHIN MEASURABLE DISTANCE, it was inevitable that the Fatah-controlled regime in Palestinian Gaza was to take objection to what they see as a back-door exercise by which Fatah's sworn rivals, Hamas, might try to regain power in Gaza (not just the West Bank, which Israel also has claim to)--even when you consider where much concern continues to be addressed of wholesale corruption and abuse of power in Gaza under Fatah.

So how will this exactly play out?

NEWS THAT THE RELIGIOPOLITICAL RIGHT MUST BE ENVIOUSLY STUDYING, EVEN DROOLING OVER IN ITS LUSCIOUS GLORY, for the day of its establishing a Theocratic Christian State in our "morally superior" United States dominated, I fear, by inebriates, drug addicts, sex maniacs, spendthrifts and others weird and unwholesome:

The al-Shabbat sect of Islamist militants in southern Somalia is coming under International Umbarge for a Notorious Public Execution of two suspected "spies" in a southern Somali city last Friday which saw crowds being coerced by loudhailer messages to attend, and schools being ordered closed so children could watch the grisly scenes unfolding in their Luscious Glory.

MEANWHILE, ON THE OTHER SIDE OF AFRICA (NIGERIA, TO BE EXACT), authorities have announced the arrest of those connected with 18 "cyber-crime syndicates" and the shutdown of some 800 e-mail services (Internet cafes, by and large) in connexion with "419" schemes being perpetuate on the Information Stuporbahn to the discredit of Nigeria's good name, image, sovereignty and sovereign identity "antient and peculiar."

Only now, "smart technology" (as opposed to mass arrests) is being used by Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, in tandem with Microsoft, to identify and isolate the more infamous cases thereof.

(If you don't already know by now, "419" refers to the section of the Nigerian Criminal Codex dealing with frauds against the Nigerian Government.)

But then again, how much longer will it be before the "419" racket relocates to some other African state--or, for that matter, the Nigerian Diaspora overseas? (Too, you have plenty of letters in the "419" stylee as claim to come from United States stationed in Iraq as supposedly uncovered "war booty" in the form of Plundered Assets of State from several of the supposed "palaces" of former Ba'athist leader Saddam Hussein or other high-ranking Ba'athist leaders.)

WITH EVIDENCE EMERGING THAT MINI SUBMARINES ARE INCREASINGLY BEING USED BY COLOMBIAN-BASED DRUGS SYNDICATES to transship illicit narcotics (especially cannabis, hashish and cocaine) via Guatemala (anchoring said subs in offshore waters close to the Guatemalan-Mexican border) to avoid detection ... as well as drugs-trafficking flights operating out of Venezuelan airports ... Your Correspondent, for one, has to ask if the Socialist regime of Hugo Chavez is giving Infamous Aid and Comfort to Colombian criminal syndicates vis-a-vis use of Venezuelan ports, harbours and airspace in connexion with such illicit traffic.

Which could be enough for Pat "700 Club" Robertson to reiterate his infamous request in the summer of 2007 to have the CIA kill off Chavez posthaste, and with celerity and dispatch besides, excusing the whole as being For G-d, Country and Gasoline Cheap and Cheerful (especially with the installation of a conservative-leaning, free-market-as-Great-White-Father-stylee regime influenced in particular by its Zealots and True Believers in K Street, as well as Fox Prolefeed).

MEANWHILE, WITH FOX PROLEFEED'S RATHER PATHETIC FETISH ABOUT KULTURKRIEG AS IS SOLELY OF THEIR OWN IMAGINATION, and then solely to distract the hearts and minds of their poor, ignorant and easily-influenced "trailer trash" audiences away from The Big Picture, may I be first to suggest that any "culture war" items be properly identified accordingly by way of:

1. the on-screen display taking the form of the German word Kulturkrieg in the Nazi-stylee Fraktur typeface; and
2. the background music being a loud, martially-strident rendition of the old "Uber alles" (as in "Deutschland, Deutschland") or, as needed (in the interest of variety more than anything), the old "Die Stem van Suid-Afrika."
