FOR SOME REASON, THERE ARE SOME ELEMENTS ON THE RELIGIOPOLITICAL RIGHT WHO SEE GOP VICE-PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE SARAH PALIN to be no better than the Old Deluder made flesh, who would be ready to sell out Our Antient and Pecuilar Soverignty and Soverign Identity to the New World Order just as Judas betrayed the Christus to the Roman occupation authorities for 30 silver pieces, in turn translating into His Crucifixion.

Right Wing Watch makes a valid case for this point:

It seems that no matter how right-wing someone is, there is always someone even more right-wing around to call them a bleeding heart liberal.  For Sarah Palin, that is Vision Forum who, as we noted last week, thinks that her entire career is an offense to God.  Now, Vision Forum president Doug Phillips tells OneNewsNow that not only does her candidacy violate biblical teaching, she's actually not even a conservative but really a pro-gay, pro-evolution liberal:

"It's pretty clear what it says in Titus 2 that women are to care for their children, love their husband, and be keepers at home; that the Word of God be not blasphemed," Phillips explains. "And it's also clear in 1 Corinthians 11, when it says that the man is not made for the woman but the woman is made for the man, meaning that the wife is to be the helpmeet to the husband, who really sets the family vision and drives the family vision."

Palin, according to Phillips, is not as conservative as many may believe. "Her actual record is a very anti-family record. Sarah Palin is on record as being pro-evolution, pro-contraceptive discussion at taxpayer expense at government schools," he adds. "She has advocated the single-most liberal policy regarding Title IX, which requires basically mandatory quotas now to be applied to the private sector. She's one of the most pro-homosexual governors in America in terms of her actual policies."

No wonder, then, that the Religiopolitical Right wants to revise the Presidential role to one of superdivinity--"Prophet, Seer and Revelator," as it were, all the while expected to lie low when it comes to the likelihood of narcotics or hallucinogenics being used to create the aura of being in receipt of Divine Revelation.

To whom it may concern:

Please excuse the intrusion I am causing upon your day, especially considering where you, as a member of what is colloquially known as "the Four Hundred," traditionally epitomise wealth and power @ its utmost. And to which we of the Lower Classes are somehow expected to defer to in matters of Judgement and Wisdom in the name of "our collective best interess."

It is against this backdrop that I would like to address this Open Letter to you, particularly so by way of an appeal to what passes for your sense of Moral and Social Responsibility to the Greater Collective Good of the Nation in the face of a projected National Debt in excess of $10 trillion.

Yes, you read correctly--$10 trillion, with a T.

Largely because of a major socioeconomic scheme which His Fraudulency's Great Within has proposed in the interest of preventing the imminent collapse of the banking and financial systems made all the more so by misguided socioeconomic thought which expected "complete, final and binding regulatory relief" to be, as it were, the Great White Hope of the American People and Nation, especially so the Lower Classes, to the point of their supposed "empowerment" based on free-market models and paradigms.

Which, all in all, risks compromising Our Soverignty and Soverign Identity.

To that end, may I propose the following suggestions as would appeal to any sense you would have of Moral and Social Responsibility, especially so out of any fear or paranoia your collective community would have about "undue and unreasonable" tax increases as would leave you with nothing but the option of capital flight to offshore financial centres as you will likely excuse and justify as being "for tax reasons," notwithstanding the ensuing losses to the Treasury as will affect the day-to-day financing and operations of the Government:

1. Renounce completely and finally any and all associations, open and secret, that you may have with organisations, causes and sects as hold highly-dangerous articles of faith expecting to replace the current republican system of government to, as it were, The United States of America, LLC--replete with officially-sanctioned racism, bigotry, anti-Semitism and xenophobic intolerance.
2. Consider making a fully tax-deductible gift to reduce the National Debt, preferably equivalent to @ least 10% of ready cash, as a means of showing some sort of responsibility among your community of wealth and power for the Best Interests of the Nation.
3. Continue making such gifts to reduction of the National Debt on a regular basis, preferably equal to @ least 2½% of ready cash.
4. Should you have any designs on online shopping for your end-of-year gifting purposes, please consider doing so through the online shopping section of the sidebar to this rather pathetic excuse for a weblog, or so you would think upon seeing this. I intend to donate a part of any commissions I would get from your online purchases so ensuing towards reduction of the National Debt.

By these means, it is my fervent hope and design that "The Four Hundred" can show some semblance of doing their fair share of Civic Responsibility and Good Citizenship in the best interests of the Nation in the face of a clear and present danger of Our Antient and Pecuilar Soverignty being compromised by elements weird and unwholesome as you may unwittingly have supported or may otherwise support fiscally as much as morally, excusing such support as "necessary" for your own selfish interests, and the defence therefor.

Otherwise, what precludes such a show of responsibility?

In any event, I sincerely and fervently hope that what I have just suggested will be given due regard and consideration on your collective and singular parts--especially if you claim to so love and support Our Beloved Nation, yet fear tax policies forcing capital flight showing reckless and utter disregard for the Nation.

Policies which may only serve to backfire on the most hard-wired specimens of Zealotry and True Belief in this regard @ state level, in particular Minnesota Governor Pawlenty--perhaps the best droog which the Club For Growth, perhaps the most vocal advocate of such fatally-flawed articles of faith, has among the governors of the several states.

Especially as the Fundamentals of the Economy (otherwise known as the Working Classes) lose jobs and request unemployment assistance, only to learn that the benefits are all the more limited or unavailable, with advice that the unemployed keep finding work--even if it means having to respond to "work-from-home" offers with significant and measurable danger for loss of money to swindlers and carpetbaggers only exploiting socioeconomic uncertainty. And whose earnings claims are, by and large, transient to the point of illusory.

(The same, perhaps, being said of "cashflow gifting" systems and schemes where PayPal is deployed all the more to create an aura of legitimacy, notwithstanding such raising quesions under the laws dealing with Wire Fraud.)

Never mind the Neoconservative/Fascisti insistence on a theoretical nil rate of unemployment possible within the parameters of a "pure" free-market capitalist model and paradigm, subject only to Self-Regulatory Codes of Good Practice as turn out excusing cartel behaviour.

AS IF THAT WEREN'T DANGEROUS ENOUGH, REPORTS OF VITRIOLIC EXCESSES @ McCAIN/PALIN RALLIES OVER RECENT DAYS featuring manufactured fanaticism worthy of Nazi and Fascist rallies @ their heighth of misguided power and glory are enough to raise serious security questions which may sway the election all the closer to Obama/Biden, already showing a healthy lead in the major polls.

In particular, the likelihood of the McCain/Palin campaign establishing connexions with notorious agents provocateur ahead of campaign appearences to further stoke the flames of fanatical excess among espcially such Fundamentals of the Economy so hard-wired in their devotion to a flawed and faltering campaign that has to resort to crude and potentially dangerous tactics to save credibility.

Tactics which, in the wrong circumstances, could lead to disorder and violence which the McCain campaign (and their Good and Loyal Droogs @ Fox Prolefeed) will "officially" blame on "troublemakers" from the Obama campaign to protect themselves from scandal.

The prospect of which bears watching, especially if news coverage of McCain/Palin appearences includes footage of outright brawls, fisticuffs, tolchocking, rozzrezzing, firebombs, Molotov cocktails--in short, general mayhem as sends several to hospital and forces the appearence to be cut short. Especially when the weaponry of choice goes beyond fear and hysteria and into the likes of bullwhips, steel-toed bovver boots, brass knuckles, numchuks, switchblade knives, stink bombs, CS gas, even illegal pyrotechnica (as in "cherry bombs," M80's and Silver Salutes)--in short, anything guaranteed to cause Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH).

Not to mention hospital emergency rooms being overtaxed to capacity.

And Fox Prolefeed winding up with egg on its face, so to speak--especially should they be implicated as an Unindicted Co-Conspitator.

(Which, specifically, is envisaged as being in the Northern Cape along the Oranje River, roughly between Kimberly and Kaapstad.)

And their likely rationale: Out of "onderhou Ras Eer en Integriteit," or so the Afrikaner's patsy (in Afrikaans, of course) is likely to go.

PORTRAIT OF SOMEONE FROM "THE GREATEST GENERATION" WHO COULD SEE BORDERLINE EFFECTS FROM THE CURRENT SOCIOECONOMIC CRISES: An 87-year-old widow living alone in a 3-bedroom house in Caledonia, Minnesota, getting rather limited income from Social Security.

All nine of her children scattered throughout the country.

Never invested in equities, insisting that a traditional bank passbook is all one really needs in the investment department as being safe and secure.

Insists on living in that same house, with Home Health Care providing for her medical needs "to add taxpayer value" rather than waste her last days in an old-age home--and to sell the home only when her estate is submitted to the Probate Court following her decease in the form of her Last Will and Testament, and on Clear Title.

Unwilling to borrow on home equity or otherwise take out a Reverse Mortgage out of fear such will seriously "dilute the value of the house" when it gets sold, proceeds expected to go to her estate (and said proceeds, not to mention such among her personal property, being the foundation thereof).

Has to subsist, for the most part, on toast and eggs for breakfast, dinner usually being simple leftovers or frozen toaster waffles heated up; will occasionally take lunch @ the local Senior Nutrition site. Any substantial meal(s) will likely leave her stuffed for a day or so following.

Home Health Aides or Nurses call on her every weekday save Wednesdays, left open for medical or other appointments as they come up; said visits are mostly to check up on her, monitor her medications, even check on her blood-sugar levels (she has Type II diabetes). Otherwise, especially in sudden emergencies, she has a "lifecall" system as allows her to send for medical help with the press of a button. Has been left all the more weakened, as it were, following emergency bowel-opening surgery in 2005 as required her to be in hospital for nearly two months for convalescence ... and needs cane or walker to get around the house with following hip-replacement surgery in 1999, made all the worse because of some mismanaged Physical Therapy following the implant operation.

Hesitant to use hearing aids as were prescribed for her, thus requiring her to have the TV in her house on @ maximum volume (and turn it off, in effect, when a phone call comes in, with risk of missing key twists of plot in her soap operas or game shows).

All in all, trying to get by with each passing day.

And still leaving Your Correspondent wondering from time to time "what will happen next," especially when, in calling her, her voice sounds weak or tired.

HOYER: Well, we see the subprime problem. You know, we passed legislation on the subprime, and, frankly, Alan Greenspan didn't enforce it. Bernanke now has. We passed legislation on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in April of '07. It languished in the Senate. Mr. Shelby was opposed to it, on regulation. Secretary Paulson was for it.

CAVUTO: But do you think --

HOYER: And, in any event, the question is, going forward --

CAVUTO: -- all I'm saying, Congressman, all I'm saying is, do you think that -- obviously, there's enough blame to go on both sides --

HOYER: Sure.

CAVUTO: -- that -- that you wanted to encourage minority lending -- obviously, a lot of Republicans did as well. There was a lot of -- expand lending to those to get a home. Do you think, intrinsically, it was a mistake, on both parties' part, to push --

HOYER: I think --

CAVUTO: -- to push for homeownership for everybody?

HOYER: I think clearly what happened is, Fannie and Freddie got caught up in trying to do what the Congress wanted done.

Which was followed upon two days later, on the same show, with Rep. Xavier Becerra (D/CA) trying to match wits with Mr. Cavuto (again, via Media Matters):

CAVUTO: I just wonder, you know, with Congress holding all these hearings -- and you're right, there are a lot of them planned -- does anyone hold hearings on what you guys knew or didn't know or whether -- or whether you were ignorant or not? I mean, does anyone look at -- I know the buck stops with the president -- but at least it stops by you guys. What were you doing?

BECERRA: Well, we were trying to get answers from the administration. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like they were giving us a complete picture of what was going on. We can only know what the administration tells us about their administration of the government. But you're right.

CAVUTO: All right, but let me ask you -- but, Congressman, when -- when you and many of your colleagues were pushing for more minority lending and more expanded lending to folks who heretofore couldn't get mortgages, when you were pushing homeownership --

BECERRA: Neil, who did that?

CAVUTO: -- again, no, no, seriously, again with the best of interests --

BECERRA: Who did that?

CAVUTO: I'm not saying -- I'm not blaming one or the other. I'm just saying you and a lot of --

BECERRA: Yeah, but who did that? I'm not aware of anyone asking anyone to make a loan to someone who couldn't afford it.

CAVUTO: I'm just saying, are you -- are you totally -- wait a minute. Are you totally without culpability here? Are you totally blameless? Are you totally irresponsible of anything that happened?

BECERRA: Neil, if you can tell me what Congress did not do that it should have done, I'm more than willing to take a look at that, and -- and answer your question. But, as far as I can tell, with regard to what the Fed did, the Fed is -- is an entity, a body, that is under the administration, at least to some degree. We can only ask for oversight responses from the Fed or from the administration. But, again, if you can point out something that Congress did not do --

CAVUTO: But, no, it's your -- no, no, no, your hindsight, Congressman, is 20/20. I'm not denying that. I'm just wondering whether --

BECERRA: Yeah.

CAVUTO: -- did you warn or express concern about any of the things that happened? I'm not saying that one or the other is beyond blame --

BECERRA: Oh, absolutely, we did. Absolutely.

CAVUTO: -- I'm just saying, I don't remember a clarion call that said, "Fannie and Freddie are a disaster. Loaning to minorities and risky folks is a disaster."

BECERRA: Oh, Neil --

CAVUTO: Maybe if you said it, enlighten me.

BECERRA: -- oh, Neil, no, no. Yes, absolutely. Absolutely. Absolutely, we did. If you look at the record -- and if you want me to -- want to have me on again soon, I can bring you a record of time after time where members of Congress pointed out to a then-Republican majority that deregulating too many of these industries was going to cause this mismanagement and reckless-abandon activity that we now see by a lot of these money-changers. And, so, absolutely, Congress was alerted by members of Congress about what would happen if we stopped the oversight responsibilities that Congress has. So, absolutely, that's the case.

CAVUTO: All right, so --

BECERRA: And, if you want to have me back, I could bring you that evidence.

CAVUTO: I would look forward to that, Congressman.

Leaving Your Correspondent wondering if the "real" Neoconservative policy towards the Lower Classes and National Minorities is essentially resettling such upon "new town" travesties based on what the Nicolae Ceauçescu regime was envisaging for Romania in the mid- to late 1980's as the Communist regime was heading for all the more imminence of collapse; viz., nothing more than cinderblock-and-concrete eyesores of apartment towers furnished in a rather Spartan way (consistent with the Neocon/Fascisti ideal of a Wholesome and Simple Home Life based on poverty, fecundity and stupidity), with self-contained, energy-inefficent appliances "to protect guaranteed profit margins" on the part of local power companies and FreeVee systems featuring nothing but the crudest and most depraved of pornographic ultraviolence packaged as Wholesome Family Entertainment (consistent with another Neocon/Fascisti belief about the Lower Classes lacking any "healthy respect" for Morals, Decency or Common Sense, unlikely to change all along even if they wanted to). GREEN BAY, Wisc. (AP) -- Wall Street turmoil left John McCain scrambling to explain why the fundamentals of the U.S. economy remained strong. It also left him defending his support for privately investing Social Security money in the same markets that had tanked earlier in the week.

The Republican presidential nominee says all options must be considered to stave off insolvency for the government insurance and retirement program, and top McCain advisers say that includes so-called personal retirement accounts like those President Bush pushed in 2005 but abandoned in the face of congressional opposition.

The aides tried to soothe voters concerned about the bankruptcies, takeovers and bailouts on Wall Street by declaring McCain favored only the option of such accounts, just for younger workers, and most likely in a conservative investment vehicle such as bonds.

Private accounts for Social Security are "always an easier sell when the markets are going up instead of going down," said David Wyss, chief economist at Standard & Poor's. "I don't think this is a good week to sell that one politically, but you're looking at the long term here. You're investing your retirement funds for 20 or 30 years down the road."

A headline Friday in the Manchester, N.H., Union Leader, the leading paper in that battleground state, underscored the political challenge. "Pension funds for workers take a hit," read a story about a roughly $500 million decline the past three months in the state's public pension fund.

Democrat Barack Obama opposes the accounts and has warned they could be a precursor to eliminating the government entitlement program. Critics also note that one of McCain's top economic advisers is former Texas Sen. Phil Gramm, a free-marketeer who pushed the idea of a privatized retirement system as far back as 1988.

Obama, a senator from Illinois, has suggested shoring up the program by imposing a Social Security tax of no more than 4 percent on earnings above $250,000; currently, only the first $102,000 in income is subject to the tax. Income in the "doughnut hole" between those figures would not be taxed.

McCain calls such a tax punitive and counterproductive. He also says refusing to discuss private accounts amounts to political posturing. He says his willingness to broach the subject is emblematic of his "Country First" campaign motto and harkens back to bipartisan discussions between President Reagan and Democratic House Speaker Tip O'Neill Jr. the last time the system was revamped in 1983.

"We have to have some straight talk for America. The Social Security system is going to go broke. It will not be there for present day men and women who are working. And we have to fix it and we have to do it in a bipartisan fashion," the Arizona senator said Wednesday during a town hall meeting with running mate Sarah Palin in Grand Rapids, Mich.

He added: "We have to realize that the worst thing we can do is continue to allow these unfunded debts to mount, and to pass on to another generation of Americans a burden that we've imposed on them."

McCain aides bristle at talk of "privatizing" the Social Security system.

"He's not ever talked about outsourcing Social Security into the private sector," senior adviser Steve Schmidt told reporters Thursday. "What people talk about with regard to personal accounts is giving the American people an ability to have a greater return on an investment - it could be bond funds, for example."

Wyss, the Standard & Poor's economist, said the concept of supplemental private accounts is valid, but there are so many variables in constructing them it makes discussion difficult. He also warns that it's too late to make changes for the Baby Boom generation, which has begun retiring. That is reducing the number of workers paying into the system at the same time there is an increase in benefits being paid out.

By about 2020, more people will be drawing on the system than will be paying into it, and the government projects Social Security could be insolvent around 2040. Those projections change slightly each year.

"I think it's a good idea, but again, it doesn't solve the immediate problem," said Wyss. "And you also have to make sure you maintain an adequate safety net because you don't want people eating cat food in retirement."

MEANWHILE, WHEN IT COMES TO TARGETED JOBS-TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE SCHEMES SERVING SUCH WITH SPECIAL PROBLEMS precluding their being able to find work by way of traditional channels (among them Job Corps, School to Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Displaced Worker Retraining and Veterans' Readjustment), expect the imminent socioeconomic meltdown to mean that such programmes are unlikely to have real work available (and, in the process, limited or no pay in the process, what with sheltered workshops, for one, traditionally using a piecework-linked pay scale).

And, more than likely, the time having to be filled in the wrong sort of way, as if having to justify their "guaranteed" subsidy and grant allowances with activities inconsistent or otherwise incompatible with their stated mission of providing jobs and career training and placement assistance to such having special requirements and needs vis-a-vis the jobs market--all because the contract and subcontract work they rely on is unavailable or otherwise severely limited in light of market conditions.

Especially dangerous: The prospect of lectures heavy on racist, anti-Semitic or otherwise obscene rants, bromides and screeds which risk causing emotional harm, suggesting where clients thereof should consider themselves part of a New Order which will "graciously and of its own free will" say No to "helpless dependency" on State welfare and Social Security in favour of a Renewed Healthy Respect for Industry, Self-Reliance, Personal Responsibility, Thrift based on Cash Economy and a Wholesome and Simple Home Life.

And embrace such without question or reservation as part of a New Order based on a "pure" free-market capitalistic model and paradigm to be looked upon as Great White Father of the Disenfranchised and Helpless Thanks to State Welfare (cf. North Korean propaganda depictions of "Eternal Leader" Kim Il Sung and "Great Leader" Kim Jong Il in supposedly hagiographic terms, notwithstanding their being in a sheer state of socioeconomic collapse already).

Which is something that the especially vulnerable and marginalised don't need, especially when seeking to exploit the limited and limiting availability of contract or subcontract work available to such "make-work" programmes and their being all the more vulnerable to outside suggestions likely tending to emotional harm. Harm which, in the end, may only make them all the more unsuitable for employment.
